Department Action

The City of Plano has completed the construction of the Preston Road Corridor Intersections Project. The project included intersection improvements at Preston Rd and Headquarters, Preston Rd and Spring Creek Pkwy, Preston Rd and Hedgcoxe, Preston Rd. and Tennyson Pkwy and Preston Rd and Parker Rd.

The 2007 Collin County Bond program includes funds for half of the cost of the project. This ILA authorizes the
County share of the project cost, in the amount of $2,725,000.

ACTION:
We request Commissioners Court consider approval of the Interlocal Agreement with the City of Plano for the Design and Construction of the Preston Rd. Corridor Intersection Improvements; 2007 Bond Project #07-058. Collin County participation not to exceed $2,725,000 and authorize Judge Keith Self to sign the ILA.

Corridor Intersection Improvements; 2007 Bond Project #07-058; further authorize the County Judge to execute same. md
