Department Action

The FY 2019 award is being distributed as an amendment to the existing FY 2018 contract, increasing the DSHS grant funds from $152,828 to $366,788 and extending the contract through August 31, 2019. A 20% match ($30,566) is required for expended FY 2019 funds, which will be achieved through existing personnel time. The total allocation amount for September 1, 2018, to August 31, 2019, is $152,828 which is level funding.

FY 2019 TB State Grant award in the form of a contract amendment to the existing FY 2018 TB State Grant. Grant funding in the amount of $152,828 in state funds with an in-kind county match of $30,566 to be met with existing employee salary and benefits. Total program funding is $183,394. Grant includes personnel, training, medical and office supplies, as well as a contract Pharmacist and T-Spot lab testing. Grant period is September 1, 2018 through August 31, 2019.

Auditor's Office Action

Acceptance of FY 2019 TB State grant award in the form of a contract amendment of the existing FY 2018 grant. Award of State grant funds in the amount of $152,828 with a required county match of $30,566. Match is in kind. Grant to reduce the risk of communicable disease (TB) in the community through the TB elimination program as required in TAC Sections 97.2-97.8. The grant period is from 9/1/2018 through 8/31/2019.
