Department Action

This memorandum is respectfully submitted requesting the court’s approval to enter into agreement with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). This agreement will allow for the reimbursement of anticipated overtime cost, with no cap, incurred by investigators of the Collin County Sheriff’s Office during an investigation associated with the ATF Task Force. The agreement will also reimburse for other costs, with prior ATF approval, including but not limited to travel, fuel, training, and equipment.

Federal funds in the amount of $51,940 for equipment purchases and cell phone service. Term of agreement is the date of signature by both parties through 9/30/2022.

Grant agreement has been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Federal grant funds in the amount of $51,940 with no county match required. Grant period is from execution of agreement through 9/30/2022.
