The design plans for the DNT Service Road from FM 428 to US 380 are nearing completion and we are finalizing the acquisition of additional right-of-way and drainage easements in order to proceed toward construction of the roadway. Several factors, such as higher land costs, legal fees and adding some land in order to be able to shorten a bridge, have caused us to exceed our estimates. In order to provide funding to finish the acquisition process, a budget adjustment is required.
The following budget adjustment totals $443,000:
