Department Action

On February 13, 2018, the Texas Department of Transportation held a Public Hearing in the City of Lavon to hear testimony regarding the improvements to SH 205 from SH 78 to N. of John King Blvd.

In order to affirm our support of the project, we would like to send TxDOT the attached resolution in hopes that it would help to gain a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) as quickly as possible. Once TXDOT receives Environmental Clearance, they can proceed to Right of Way Acquisition and Final Design.

We request Commissioners Court consider adoption of the attached Resolution supporting construction of the SH 205 from SH 78 to N. of John King Blvd.
