Requesting approval to Award of 2024-274, Large Project HVAC Commercial Plumbing & Emergency Repairs: The Brandt Companies LLC, BuyBoard contract 733-24. Below are reasons why Facilities request Commissioners Court to approve The Brandt Companies LLC as a Collin County Contractor:
We are providing sample projects The Brandt Companies LLC completed for Collin County and future projects:
  • Courthouse Chiller Water Leak and Excavation
  • Gas Leakage and repair
  • Replacement of large capacity water tanks
  • Replacement of the Courthouse Chiller Water Line
Annual costs should not exceed $150,000.
Costs in the past fiscal years:

  • 2021 - $20,000
  • 2020 - $53,188
  • 2019 - $139,164
 
The contract term begins April 1, 2024, and continues through and including March 31, 2025. The county will have the right and option to extend the term of the contract for two (2) additional one (1) year periods upon the same terms and conditions as the BuyBoard Cooperative Contract.
