Department Action

The new Auxiliary Court has been furnished with A/V equipment and is ready for utilization by the Courts. This courtroom will particularly be needed during the Audio Upgrade of courtrooms beginning June 20, 2016, running through the end of October. A Judge Edition machine currently in service for testing will be moved to the new Auxiliary Courtroom, but an additional Tyler Technologies license will be required along with a desktop computer and a phone. Approximate total cost of this request is $6,663 to be divided equally between the District and Court Court-at-Law Technology Funds. The balance in those two funds at the present time is approximately $330,000.

Purchasing Department Action

No action by Purchasing at this time. If approved the appropriate policies and procedures will apply.

HR and/or IT Action

IT recommends add required computers and software to the new Aux court.

Budget Department Action

Funds available in County (052) and District (053) Court technology funds. Please see fiscal impact tab for budget amendment establishing expenditure budget.

Auditor's Office Action

Funds available in the County Courts Technology Fund and the District Courts Technology Fund. Budget amendment will be processed upon approval.
