Department Action

The Engineering Department requests Commissioners Court’s authorization to issue the attached RFP for appraisal services. Appraisals will be required to purchase right-of-way for transportation projects such as the Collin County Outer Loop, Frontier Parkway, County drainage projects, etc. Appraisal services will also be utilized for other land purchases or sales on an as needed basis.

We currently have one firm, Pyles-Whatley, under contract for these services. A second firm will provide flexibility and enable us to keep projects on schedule.

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval of specifications for RFP 2016-241, Professional Services, Appraisal Services, and further authorize advertising for same. md
