Public Works requests Commissioners' Court approval to accept and enter into the 2016/2017 Materials Management Grant.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval to accept the FY2016/2017 Materials Management Grant through North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTOG). The intent of this grant is to reduce illegal dumping by providing educational information to the public and commercial sectors regarding product stewardship, recycling, proper collection, and disposal methods for toxic materials through the development and distribution of targeted pamphlets/brochures. Grant period is effective through August 31, 2017. No County match required. Further authorize the County Judge to finalize and execute same. jd

Budget Department Action

FY 2016/2017 Materials Management Grant not to exceed $49,250.50. No county match required. County will be responsible for making the payment and reimbursed once invoices are submitted quarterly. Funding includes contractual agreements for soil testing as well as printing of information and pamphlets. Grant is effective through August 31, 2017.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant award in the amount not to exceed $49,250.50 in state funding. Grant application had been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached.
