Department Action

The City of Plano has completed the construction of Independence Parkway Corridor project. The project included intersection improvements at Independence Parkway and Parker Road, Independence Parkway and Park Boulevard and Independence Parkway and 15th Street.

The 2007 Collin County Bond program includes funds for half of the cost of the project. This ILA authorizes the
County share of the project cost, in the amount of $1,030,000.

ACTION:
We request Commissioners Court consider approval of the Interlocal Agreement with the City of Plano for for the Design and Construction of Independence Parkway Corridor Intersection Improvements; 2007 Bond Project #07-058. Collin County participation not to exceed $1,030,000 and authorize Judge Keith Self to sign the ILA.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval of an Interlocal Agreement between Collin County and the City of Plano Concerning the Design and Construction of Independence Pkwy. Corridor Intersection Improvements; further authorize the County Judge to execute same. md

The County's participation is a NTE $1,030,000.00.
