Department Action

The Collin County Information Technology department requests approval for award of the Tableau Business Intelligence and Analytics Software on behalf of the Sheriff’s Office. This software purchase is awarded to Carahsoft Technology. This Software will support the Sheriff’s Office by allowing them to graphically analyze any data they wish to model.

The funds will come out of account code O3JUS.

Funding available in short term debt project 03JUS for the purchase of Tableau Business Intelligence and Analytics Software. Award of Contract 2018-023 through the Department of Information Resources Contract DIR-TSO-3149 in the amount of $88,260.49. Budget Adjustment in the amount of $50,462 for Year 1 is detailed on the fiscal impact tab. The remaining two years totaling $37,798.66, $18,899.33 each year, will be paid from Technology Maintenance the General Fund (001).
