Department Action

Requesting Commissioners' Court consideration and approval of Amendment No. 1 to Contract 2018-049, Personal Services, veterans Program Manager Brennan Rivera-Jones for Texas Veterans Commission grant, the North Texas Regional Veterans Court Program Manager, to extend the contract for the period July 1, 2018 through August 3, 2018.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval of Amendment No. 1 the Personal Services, Veterans Program Manager Brennan Rivera-Jones agreement 2018-049 with Brennan Rivera-Jones per the attached documentation and further allow exemption from the competitive bid process per V.T.C.A. Local Government Code 262.024 (a) (4), and authorize the Purchasing Agent to finalize and execute same. go

Budget Department Action

Contract Amendment No. 1 for Professional Services, (Contract No. 2018-049), with Brennan Rivera-Jones as Veterans Program Manager. Amendment to extend contract for one (1) month at the same terms and conditions. Contract period is July 1, 2018 through August 3, 2018. Grant has not been awarded as of June 20, 2018. Final approval and award still pending. Veterans Program Manager salary to be paid out of the Veteran’s Court budget until grant award is received. Funds available in 1050-Specialty Courts Fund.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant has not been awarded as of 6/12/2018, however the grant application has the Program Manager salary to earn over $50,000. Final approval and award still pending from Texas Veterans Commission. Any Veteran's Court expenditures starting 7/1/18, to include the Program Manager salary, are to be paid out of the Veteran's Court budget until grant award is received. At that time the expenditures will be moved over to the grant budget.

Commissioners Court
