Occasionally it is necessary to release payments before Commissioners Court approval to prevent harm to the County and/or to a vendor or payee.  An unwritten procedure has been used in the past in which approval from the Auditor and the County Judge or County Administrator has approved on a form prescribed by the Auditor.  The attached Early Release Payment Policy will set rules and officially document this process.  Please consider adopting this policy.
