The Information Technology department is requesting Commissioner Court to authorize award of the ProofPoint Essentials Security Suite software maintenance renewal to SHI as the lowest cost vendor. The software provides spam and phishing detection, email archiving, email retention, and search capabilities.

The FY19 renewal is budgeted as part of the non-departmental budget request funded under account number 0001-10001-0001-41-30-0000-637503.
