Department Action

The Juvenile Probation Department is seeking to apply for a grant from the Governor's Criminal Justice Division to help fund operations of the 417th Juvenile Drug Court, the SOAR Program. These funds will be used to fund substance abuse treatment services for program participants. The grant request is for $50,000.00 with no county match.

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval to apply for grant for 417th Juvenile Drug Court, SOAR Program from the Office of Governor (OOG) Criminal Justice Division (CJD) for the period September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2020 and authorize County Judge to execute same. sh

Auditor's Office Action

Grant application has been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached.
