Department Action

The Information Technology department is requesting Commissioner Court to authorize Elections Office re-enrollment in the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement program. The agreement is for a three-year term, paid annually, and covers the first year of the agreement. The agreement covers the Microsoft software used in the county to support desktop productivity and server systems.

The Information Technology department is requesting renewal award to the best evaulated offeror, per the attached.

The FY19 renewal is budgeted as part of the non-departmental budget request. In order to continue participation in the Microsoft EA program, Microsoft must have a purchase order prior to the end of our current agreement on June 30, 2019.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval of award of Cooperative RFP No. 2019-173, Microsoft Enterprise Agreement for Elections to the best evaluated offorer per the attached, for the period July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2022 per DIR contract DIR-TSO-4092, further authorize Purchasing Agent to execute same. cw

Funds available in the General Fund. Budget anticipated to be approved for FY 2020.
