Department Action

The Information Technology department is providing notice to Commissioners Court of eight (8) access control door readers issued to the City of Frisco to support the Frisco Tax Office. These card readers are required to allow county employees access into, and through, the building in order to reach the county tax office.

The card readers were issued from project bench stock with installation services being performed by City of Frisco staff.

The project is budgeted under Project Code R06102 and approved on Court Order 2017-813-10-09. There is no financial impact.

Access Control Project will be distributing eight (8) previously purchased access control door readers to the City of Frisco for the Frisco Tax Office from project stock at a value of $1,390.08. The City of Frisco will be installing the badge readers at no cost. General Fund (0001).

Remarks:

There is no additional direct cost to the county as the cost of the card readers is included in the project. Eight readers, at a cost of $173.76 each, are being issued to City of Frisco staff for installation to allow county employees a pathway into the building to the county lease space.
