It is recommended that the Commissioners Court formally adopt Animal Services current policy that establishes rules and guidelines for the holding periods for animals that are impounded in the Collin County Animal Shelter and that establishes that the legal ownership of the animal is automatically transferred to Collin County at the end of the specified hold period.
