 Requesting Commissioners Court consideration and approval for an Interlocal Agreement for Jail Services with Franklin County.  This agreement is for Jail Services between June 1, 2019 and May 31, 2020, and may be renewed annually by the mutual agreement of both parties.

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval of Agreement 2019-294 Interlocal Jail Services with Franklin County June 1, 2019 through May 31, 2020 and may be renewed for an additional one (1) year term as agreed in writing by both parties, and further authorize the County Judge to execute the same.

Interlocal Agreement for Jail Services with Franklin County at a rate of $45 per day. Funding for 10 beds for the remainder of FY 2019 is included on Agenda 46830 on Court July 15, 2019 in the amount of $37,800 and the Department anticipates needing funding for 40 beds in FY 2020 in the amount of $657,000. Funding to be used in the event of an emergency evacuation or over population. Agreement term is June 1, 2019 through May 31, 2020. General Fund (0001).
