Department Action

Attached you will find the SURVIVR Pilot Program Agreement for the Courts' approval. The SURVIVR program is a virtual-reality scenario based training for Law Enforcement.

SURVIVR will provide Collin County Sheriff's Office ONE (1) program setup including hardware and software necessary to run the program and equipment. The County will not be required to make any payments in exchange for the use of the equipment and access to the program.

The agreement will begin August 5, 2019 and will end May 1, 2020.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval of agreement with SURVIVR PBC for SURVIVR Pilot Program for a virtual reality (VR) based training for law enforcement and authorize County Judge to execute same. sh

The product that we will be utlizing has a value of approximately $3,000. The system is standalone and will not connect to the Collin County network.

Request for approval of an agreement with SURVIVR PBC for the SURVIVR Pilot Program which is virtual reality based training for law enforcement. Agreement is for one program setup including the hardware and software. There is no cost to the County to participate in the pilot. Agreement starts August 5, 2019 and automatically terminates on May 1, 2020.
