The Information Technology Department respectfully requests Commissioners Court approval for a budget amendment to transfer $8,500 of the remaining LiDAR 2018 balance to fund the purchase of ArcGIS Monitor.

Total cost not to exceed $8,500.

Funds available in the amount of $8,500 from savings of the LIDAR Data project (BDN06501) for the re-allocation of funds to cover the purchase of ArcGIS Monitor requested as a Department Improvement for FY 2020. Purchase of this software would allow the GIS department to identify problems with the interactive maps before they become failures. This would allow the GIS Department to act more proactively than reactively. The interactive maps are used not only by the public but by County Departments as well on a regular basis and it is important that they are always accessible. Improvement was not recommended in the FY 2020 Budget. Budget Adjustment is attached. General Fund (0001).
