Public hearing regarding proposed revisions of the Collin County Subdivision Regulations
Staff is requesting that the Collin County Subdivision Regulations be amended. The proposed change edits the language regarding required lot frontage and simplifies the requirement to the following:
Minimum lot frontage on existing county roads shall be 100 feet.
The current regulations do not specifically refer to “existing” county roads and therefore do not adhere to State Statue regarding the county’s jurisdiction for requiring minimum lot frontages. We also simplified the requirement for road frontages to one minimum amount, whereas before, the road frontage requirements varied with lot size.
The appropriate public notification was completed per Local Government Code requirements.
Staff will be present for questions.
We request Commissioners Court Hold a Public Hearing to hear input regarding the proposed changes to the Collin County Subdivision Regulations and further approve the proposed changes.
