Department Action

ONCOR has an existing overhead electric line located in private easement that will need to be buried to accommodate construction of the Collin County Outer Loop between the DNT and State Highway 289.

Accordingly, ONCOR requires approval and execution of the attached Discretionary Service Agreement before beginning construction. Collin County is also required to pay $174,722 in costs associated with removing the existing line and burying a new line.

Commissioners Court’s approval and execution of the attached Agreement as well as authorization to pay costs associated with the line relocation is requested.

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding 1.) approval of a Discretionary Service Agreement between ONCOR and Collin County for the burial of an existing overhead electric line located in a private easement that will need to be buried to accommodate construction of the Collin County Outer Loop between the DNT and State Highway 289 and 2.) payment of $174,722 in costs associated with removing the existing line and burying a new line. Further authorize the County Judge to execute same. MD
