Department Action

The Law Library respectfully requests approval of the contract for Carolyn Skogman, a licensed attorney, to continue to conduct forms review for the Law Library. These forms are given to self-represented litigants and must be accurate. The purpose of this review will be to verify that the forms are current per statutory changes at the end of the most recent legislative session.
This contract will be funded through the Law Library Fund. The contract period runs October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020, with the option of two (2) annual renewals.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners' Court consideration and any action regarding approval of an exemption to the bid process per VTCA Local Government Code 262.024 (4), a personal or professional service, for Agreement No. 2019-314, Professional Services Agreement with Carolyn E. Skogman for an Attorney to conduct forms review for the Law Library, and further authorize the Purchasing Agent to execute same. cw

Budgeted funds available upon adoption of the FY 2020 Budget for the continued review of legal forms in the Law Library. Contract term is October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020. Law Library Fund (1021).
