I am asking the Commissioner's Court to renew the attached three year contract with
Thomson Reuters. The contract terms are to provide a subscription for 74 attorneys, at the Collin County District Attorney's Office, to have access to Westlaw ProF!ex, an online legal database, which includes the following features: Westlaw Edge; Analytical Plus for Government; Litigation for Government; Drafting Assistant for Government; and WL4G O'Connor's.

Pursuant to a bridge term in the contract, the first two months will be charged at the current rate of $3,767.26 per month. The remaining months will be charged at $4,583.56 per month. The contract has a limited 5% increase in monthly charges after each twelve month period. The three year contract will run congruent with the Collin County budget cycle.

Budgeted funds available for the award of Coop Contract 2019-360, West Proflex for the District Attorney per DIR Contract DIR-LGL-CALIR-02 for three years. The first two months of the contract are $3,767.26 per month and the following ten months are $4,583.56. The monthly fees can go up by a max of 5% every twelve month period. General Fund (0001).
