Department Action

The Engineering Department requests that the contract with Halff Associates Inc. for services relating to the Park Boulevard design be increased by $51,230.00.

This increase will provide for a traffic engineering study to evaluate existing traffic patterns and model future traffic taking into consideration the Park Boulevard extension. This study is necessary before we can pursue an alternate alignment/ connection to F.M. Highway 2514 with the Texas Department of Transportation.

Halff proposes to contract with Alliance Transportation Group (ATG) for this study and a detailed breakdown of their proposed scope and fee is attached.

Commissioners Courts approval of this contract amendment and the budget adjustment below is requested and I will be available to answer any questions you might have regarding this matter.
