The Collin County Sheriff’s Office respectfully requests the court’s approval to accept the FY 2019 Southwest Border Rural Law Enforcement Assistance Grant. The performance period for the grant is October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2021. The amount of the grant award is $153,144.

FY 2019 Southwest Border Rural Law Enforcement Information Sharing and Interdiction Assistance Grant in the amount of $153,144 in federal funds with no county match required. Funding to be used to purchase a fully equipped and marked patrol vehicle with license plate reader to support the disruption of drug and drug related crimes as well as human trafficking. Equipment maintenance will be the responsibility of the county. Grant period is October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2021.
