Award Amount : $241,000.00 Program Fund: HS- Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) Liquidation Date: 12/29/20 Project Title: 2019 UASI - Collin County - Regional Fusion Center Analysts (LE) Grant Manager: Chelssie Lopez Federal Awarding Agency: U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency The purpose of the HSGP is to support state and local efforts to prevent terrorism and other catastrophic events and to prepare the Nation for the threats and hazards that pose the greatest risk to the security of the United States. The HSGP provides funding to implement investments that build, sustain and deliver the 31 core capabilities essential to achieving the National Preparedness Goal (the Goal) of a secure and resilient Nation. The building, sustainment, and delivery of these core capabilities are not exclusive to any single level of government, organization, or community, but rather require the combined effort of the whole community.

FY 2019 UASI DFWA LETPA Grant in the amount of $241,000 in federal funds for the salary and benefits for two existing Fusion Center Analysts and one existing Fusion Center Research Specialist for one year. No county match is required. Grant term is October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant application had been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Grant award in the amount of $241,000. Grant is federal funding with no county match required. Grant period is 10/1/2019-9/30/2020.
