Department Action

Please consider and approve the funding agreement between Collin County and Collin College Foundation. The funding of $50,000 will provide tuition assistance to paid and volunteer members of fire departments within Collin County when attending select courses at the Collin College Fire Science Program.

This funding will continue to be allocated from the annual $1,000,000 firefighter subsidy.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners’ Court consideration and any action regarding the approval of Agreement 2020-056 between the Collin College Foundation and Collin County for Tuition Assistance in the amount of $50,000.00 for select courses within the Collin College Fire Science Program effective November 11, 2019 through September 30, 2020, and further authorize the County Judge to execute the same.
