Department Action

The Juvenile Probation Department seeks to apply for a grant from the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division to help fund operations of the 417^th Juvenile Drug Court, the SOAR Program. These funds will be used to provide community-based and residential substance abuse treatment services for program participants. The grant request is for $50,000.00 with no county match.

Grant application has been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Grant is to provide in-patient and out-patient substance abuse treatment services for juvenile SOAR program participants. Federal grant funds in the amount of $50,000 with no county match required. Grant period is from 9/1/2020 through 8/31/2021.
