Respectfully requesting approval to apply for a grant through the Criminal Justice Program (CJP). The grant period is from October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021. We are requesting $203,846 in grant funding with no County match required. Funding will be used to staff two intelligence positions to support disruption of drug and drug-related crimes.

FY 2021 Criminal Justice Program Grant in the amount of $203,846 in federal funds with no county match required. Funding will cover 2 new Research Analysts salary and benefits as well as training and county standard computer setups. County will be responsible for maintaining equipment. Grant Period is October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant application has been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Grant is for two (2) intelligence staff positions to support disruption of drug and drug-related ancillary crimes, along with computer supplies and travel / training. Grant amount $203,846 with no county match required. Grant period 10/1/2020 through 09/30/2021. Grant funds for personnel, computers, hardware, and training expenses.
