The City of Plano is 98% complete with the construction of the Spring Creek Parkway Corridor project. The project included intersection improvements at Spring Creek Parkway and Custer Rd and Spring Creek Parkway and Independence Pkwy.
The Project included work to eliminate dual traffic signals, centralize intersection into a single traffic signal and construct three (3) through, dual left and one dedicated right turn lanes from all four approaches.
The 2007 Collin County Bond program includes funds for half of the cost of the project. This ILA authorizes the County share of the project cost, in the amount of $3,049,800.
ACTION:
We request Commissioners Court consider approval of the Interlocal Agreement with the City of Plano for the Design and Construction of the Spring Creek Parkway Corridor Intersection Improvements; 2007 Bond Project #07-058. Collin County participation not to exceed $3,049,800 and authorize Judge Keith Self to sign the ILA.
