This is to request Commissoners Court acceptance for the FY 2017 CRI grant award.
The FY 2017 award is being distributed as an amendment to the existing FY 2016 contract, increasing the DSHS grant funds from $128,650 to $257,300 and extending the contract through June 30, 2017. The total allocation amount for July 1, 2016, to June 30, 2017, is $128,650.

FY 2017 Cities Readiness Initiative Grant is an amendment to the existing FY 2016 contract, increasing grant funds from 128,650 to $257,300. A 10% county match of $25,730 is required and being met through existing personnel and in-kind MRC volunteer hours. Total program funding is $283,079. Grant funding includes personnel, training and travel as well as supplies (POD supplies, ATT wireless, Computer Go-Kit and software). Grant term is July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017.

Grant application originally reviewed by grant review committee as per attached. Award acceptance of $128,650 for FY 2017 in federal funds with a required in kind match of $12,889.50. Grant period is from 7/1/16 through 6/30/17.
