This is a Cost Reimbursement Grant for the FY 2019-2020 Veterans Mental Health Grant in the amount of $150,000 in state funds with no county match required. There is no required match, but County will be expected to share in the operational costs for funded projects. Funding will cover client services, three contractual positions and supplies. The grant period is July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
Auditor's Office Action
Grant application has been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Application in the amount of $150,000 in state funds with no county match required. Grant period is from 7/1/19 through 6/30/20. The VALOR program will provide veteran-specific treatment and services for offenders who need a supervised, intensive, and structured treatment program to successfully reintegrate into civilian society. Funding will be utilized to provide operational supplies, counseling and treatment services, and contractual team members to support treatment programming.
