This is a request to apply for FY 2021 General Victim Assistance Grant. The grant would be used to fund salary and benefits for a full time Collin County Sheriff's Office Crime Victim Advocate to provide victim advocacy services for violent crime victims and their families. This grant would run from October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021.

Grant will fund 1 Crime Victim Advocate's salary and benefits as well as training. Grant period is October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021.

Grant application has been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Grant is to fund salary and benefits for full time Collin County Sheriff's Office Crime Victim Advocate to provide victim advocacy services for violent crime victims and their families. Federal funds in the amount of $75,726 with a required county match of $26,212. Match is in-kind. Grant period is from 10/1/2020 through 9/30/2021.
