Department Action

Health Care Services requests approval for an amendment to Collin County’s existing contract with Greenway, the vendor for the Prime Suite electronic medical record system. The purpose of this amendment is to allow Collin County Health Care Services to implement Greenway Telehealth, and purchase five Greenway Telehealth licenses. Collin County is starting a STD/HIV Prevention (DIS) Program, and these licenses will allow the DIS epidemiologists and program manager to conduct their DIS case interviews through HIPAA-compliant virtual video and audio calls. Collin County Health Care Services and Greenway have met and determined that this can be successfully implemented and executed.

Collin County’s existing monthly contracted fee for Greenway services is $2,673.41. This amendment will increase the monthly fee by $192.00 to $2,865.41 per month. The monthly fee will be paid from the STD/HIV-DIS Prevention Services Grant, which has sufficient funds to cover the expense during the current fiscal year.
