Requesting Commissioners Court approval of budget adjustments totaling $182,296. The price increase in food supplies and no longer using Commissary Funds for janitorial supplies are the reasons for this projected shortfall.

Jail Operations Food Supply budget still has $459,035.18, but due to negative lines the category only has $306,730.94 left. Jail Operations Monthly Expenditure Report is attached for details. Sheriff's Office is requesting a Budget Adjustment in the amount of $182,296 including $157,296 which is the entire Minimum Security budget. General Fund (0001).

Auditor's Office Action

Moving budget from Minimum Security to Jail Operations will eliminate the ability to track Minimum Security costs. Budget amendment will be processed upon approval.
