Department Action

The Collin County Sheriff’s Office would like approval from the Commissioners Court for a budget amendment to purchase the items listed below. Federal Forfeiture funds (1066) will be utilized in this purchase totaling $137,620.00.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval to (1) allow an exemption from the competitive bidding process per Local Government Code 262.024 (7) (a) for Armor Research Company, Inc. as the sole source provider of ARC Compact Response Shields & Accessories products in the United States; (2) award contract 2022-348, ARC Compact Response Shields & Accessories to Armor Research Company, Inc.; and (3) No action by Purchasing at this time for the purchase of Halligan Breaching Tools. Purchase of Blackhawk Halligan Breaching Tools is below $50,000 purchasing threshold for Federal Forfeiture funds. ED
