Department Action

District Attorney Apportionment Special Revenue Fund (Fund 1057):
I am supplementing the salary for the entry-level Misdemeanor Prosecutor positions (581) in the amount of $1,166 (benefits included) per position, for a total of $11,660 for all ten positions. This supplement will be dispersed in equal payments for the seven pay periods between October 2, 2023 and January 7, 2024. This salary supplement applies to the following position numbers: 00300269, 00300270, 201248, 201253, 201243, 201244, 201251, 201249, 201252, and 201250. I am including the required affidavits and other documents for the positions that are currently filled, and will supplement documentation with each new hire.

I have also included the required documents for the other position I will be supplementing, which will be for the entire FY2024.

District Attorney Pretrial Intervention Program Special Revenue Fund (Fund 1049):
I am continuing the supplement for the Pretrial Diversion Felony Prosecutor position that was approved in FY2023. This supplement will be in the amount of $1,241 (benefits included) and will be dispersed in equal payments for the seven pay periods between October 2, 2023 and January 7, 2024. This supplement is in accordance with the FY2024 Pretrial Intervention Budget.

Requests for Budget Amendments have been submitted to the Auditor’s Office and will be entered on October 2, 2023, the beginning of FY2024.

HR and/or IT Action

DA Salary supplement payments for FY 2024 for one Administrative Secretary and one Pretrial Felony Prosecutor. Also includes supplements for Misdemeanor Prosecutors for a partial year (until January 7, 2024).

Funds available in the amount of $30,303 in the DA Apportionment Fund (1057) for FY 2024 Salary Supplement of one (1) Administrative Secretary $18,643 and ten (10) Misdemeanor Prosecutors $11,660. Funds available in the amount of $1,241 in the DA Pretrial Fund (1049) for FY 2024 Salary Supplement of one (1) Felony Prosecutor. Budget Amendments to be processed by Auditor’s Office on 10/2/2023 for FY2024 upon approval in the total amount of 31,544.

Available fund balance of $99,677.97 as of 09/08/2023 in the DA Apportionment Special Revenue Fund, 1057 Fund. Budget amendment has been entered and will be approved upon court acceptance.
Available fund balance of $751,536.36 as of 09/11/2023 in the DA Pretrial Intervention Program Special Revenue Fund, 1049 Fund. Budget amendment has been entered and will be approved upon court acceptance.
