Department Action

I am requesting Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval of replacing the current mobile phone used in the Facilities Central Plant Control Room. The updated cell phone will increase productive, efficiencies, and effectiveness of our department having this tool. This would limit the amount of missed calls when the Control Room Operators are conducting their routine rounds. The cost for the device is $65 with a monthly cost of $37.

Budgeted funds available for the purchase of iPhone 13 with accessories and service cost for the Facilities Control Room. This will be a shared phone. The iPhone 13 is at no cost and accessories for iPhone is an estimated $65 and will be paid for by the Facilities department 8704 - line and service will be paid out of Telecom Shared. (0001) - General Fund.
