Department Action

Attached for approval is the FY 2024-2025 CPS/MRC-ASPR STTRONG grant application for the grant period of Upon Execution-5/30/2025 for $47,242.00. There is no County match required. Health Care Services’ department funds may be utilized for expenses that are not approved for purchase on the grant but are critical to department operations, including, but not limited to, supplies, uniforms, or training required for all department employees. It is estimated that approximately $200 per employee will be utilized from the department’s existing budget.

Request Health Care Foundation's consideration and any action regarding approval to apply for the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) grant in the amount of $47,242 with no County match required. The grant period is through May 30, 2025. gz

HR and/or IT Action

CPS MRC ASPR STTRONG 2024-2025 has budgeted $44,758 for salary and fringe based on the attached budget for one (1) PHEP Planner for 5 months. At this time, this amount exceeds the estimated cost for one (1) PHEP Planner. (Increase to Headcount) However, funding will need to be monitored closely.

Budget Department Action

FY2024 CPS/MRC-ASPR STTRONG Grant Application in the amount of $47,242.00 with no county match required. Grant funds to partially cover one (1) PHEP Planner position (increase to headcount) for five (5) months as well as training, travel, supplies and other program costs. Grade, title and salary of positions are subject to HR approval upon grant award. Grant period effective upon execution - May 30, 2025.

Auditor's Office Action

Grant application and award documents have been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Grant application and award for Medical Reserve Corp. Grant is for one new position, mileage, cell phone, and hotspot. Grant period is Upon Execution through May 30, 2025. Grant funds in the amount of $47,242 with no county match required.
