Collin County Sheriff's Office would like to request approval to apply for the TxDOT Traffic Safety Program - FY 2025 STEP Grant program.  The grant period is October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025.  The grant provides overtime enforcement opportunities for a year-long program with 5 mobilizations, 4 occur with major holidays.

FY 2025 STEP-IDM Grant in the amount of $12,878.52 in federal funds for overtime enforcement opportunities for 7 deputies and 1 Sergeant during specified holidays. In-Kind match is required totaling $3,417.10 of staff time. Grant term is October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025.
Auditor's Office Action
Grant application has been reviewed by the grant review committee as per attached. Grant to reimburse overtime for deputies. Required match made up Admin Deputy salary and the fringe for all deputies working the overtime. Grant period is October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025. Grant funds in the amount of $12,878.52 with required in-kind match of $3,417.10.
