Department Action

Respectfully requesting approval in accepting a donation for Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) equipment from Motorola Solutions. This ALPR equipment is new technology and will benefit the officers and citizens of Collin County. This new ALPR equipment will come at no cost to Collin County or the Sheriff's Office.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding the acceptance of an automated license plat reader (ALPR) from Motorola Solutions valued at $50,000. mc

HR and/or IT Action

SG: No additional input. The kit comes with all the cables/ harnesses to install and there is no IT involvement.

Budget Department Action

Request to accept a donation of an Automated License plate Reader (ALPR) from Motorola Solutions. Equipment is valued at $50,000. No maintenance or cost will be incurred by the County at this time.
