Department Action

The Collin County Commissioners Court approved 2018 Bond funding for this project on
May 15, 2023, Court Order 2023-406-05-15. The attached ILA will provide to the Town for the project a total, not to exceed, of $2,800,000.

The project consists of intersections improvements to widen the roadway at the intersections to a 4-lane (ultimate 6-lanes) at Coit Rd. and First St., Coit Rd. and Prosper Trail and Coit Rd. and Frontier Parkway (FM 1469). Design is at 90% complete. A tentative construction start date has been set for late 2024. The town is completing these intersections as part of a larger project to widen Coit Rd. from First Street to Frontier Parkway (FM 1461).

Action:
Approval of the Interlocal Agreement with the Town of Prosper concerning 2018 Bond Project, Coit Road Intersection improvements at First Street, Prosper Trail and Frontier Parkway (FM 1461); RI18027 (Not to exceed $2,800,000).

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval of an Interlocal Agreement between Collin County and the Town of Prosper concerning Coit Road Intersection improvements at First Street, Prosper Trail and Frontier Parkway (FM 1461) (2018 Bond Project #RI18027) Further, authorize the County Judge to execute same. ED Collin County's participation is a NTE $2,800,000.
