Department Action

The Collin County Commissioners Court approved 2018 Bond funding for this project on
May 15, 2023, Court Order 2023-406-05-15. The attached ILA will provide to city for the project a total, not to exceed, of $7,518,289.

The project will construct Coit Road as a 4-lane divided arterial from Vest Lane to Choate Parkway and will include drainage and construction of a roundabout at Ownsby Parkway and Coit Road.

Design is at 90% complete and the project is projected to go to construction in the Fall of 2024.

Approval of the Interlocal Agreement with the City of Celina concerning 2018 Bond Project, Coit Road from Vest Lane to Choate Parkway; RI18032 (Not to exceed $7,518,289)

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action regarding approval of an Interlocal Agreement 2024-170 Coit Road from Vest Lane to Choate Parkway, between Collin County and the City of Celina concerning constructing Coit Road as a 4-lane divided arterial from Vest Lane to Choate Parkway (2018 Bond Project # RI18032). Further, authorize the County Judge to execute same. ED Collin County's participation is a NTE $7,518,289.
