Department Action

The Regional Transportation Council (RTC) on November 12, 2020, at the request of Collin County, programmed $30,000,000 in federal funds for the Panther Creek Project and $30,000,000 in regional toll revenue funds for the McKinney National Airport Runway Extension Project. The Commissioners Court approved this programming and the allocation of $60,000,000 to the US 380 Project.

Attached is an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) between Collin County, the Regional Transportation Council and the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) Executive Board concerning this US 380 Funding Strategy. The funds are available in RI18013-4027-750300013-809683.

Recommended Action: It is recommended that the Commissioners Court approve the attached ILA, authorize the County Judge to execute the ILA and authorize payment of $60,000,000 to the NCTCOG/RTC.
