FYI to Commissioners Court for contract Change Order No. to Ratliff Constructors for IFB 2021-239, Construction, Collin County Adult Detention Facility, Phase 1.
PCO 77 – Owner requested daily removal and reinstall of temporary barriers in the secure area of the Jail. During a coordination meeting with the Detention staff they requested daily reinstall of barriers not priced in the price request scope. $5,977.03
PCO 78 – Owner requested revision to light layout due to install of the property storage equipment. Large conveyor installer suggested revising lighting after showing us the operation when the storage bags are hanging on the system. $4,351.94
PCO 79 – Credit to refund owner for testing charges due to repair of sub-contractor damaged electrical conduit. ($1,188.57)
PCO 80 – Owner requested add to install conduit for future touchscreen wiring. Detention staff requested control of the elevator through the control rooms. $5,869.69
PCO 81 – Owner requested add to reduce window coverage on the door side lites and door lite in both violent cells. Less glass means more padding on the interior. The original drawing for the base building and violent cell alternate showed the same door installed per the door schedule. $8,372.05
PCO 82 – Engineer requested add to change elevator breaker size. Elevator manufacturer requested an increase in the breaker size from bid drawings. $1,479.88
PCO 83 – Owner requested removal of a portion of the CMU wall in Property storage. After small conveyor installation it was determined the bags would hit the top of the wall when moving into the ceiling storage area. We are currently reviewing the hanging rods to determine if those need to change out. $3,845.66
