Department Action

Attached is the reduced funding contract amendment to the CPS/PH Workforce Grant. The current contract term will remain the same from September 2, 2021 through June 30, 2024. DSHS has requested a reduction the contract amount from $1,250,000.00 to $1,200,000.00. The reduction in funding will not shorten the employment period of any staff currently paid by this grant. There will be no negative impact to any employees, activities, or purchases previously approved by Commissioners Court for the CPS/PH Workforce Grant.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Healthcare Foundation consideration and any action regarding approval to amend the contract for the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) CPS/PH Workforce grant and authorize Board President to execute same. gz

Budget Department Action

Amendment No. 3 to Contract No. HHS001074700001 CPS/PH Workforce Grant to reduce the contract amount by $50,000. The total amount of contract will not exceed $1,200,000. No action by Budget.

Auditor's Office Action

A budget amendment will follow on a future agenda to reduce grant budget by $50,000. No further action required by the Auditor's Office.
