Department Action

The plat for the above mentioned subdivision was approved by the City of Wylie and filed on March 16, 2021. The infrastructure was completed according to the City of Wylie specifications, which shall meet Collin County specifications. Construction for the development was inspected by the City of Wylie. Final inspections were conducted by the Collin County Engineering and Public Works staff.
The effective beginning date of the maintenance bond was February 4, 2021 and ended on February 4, 2023. The maintenance period is complete and the owner has completed any required repairs as requested by the Collin County Engineering and Public Works staff. If approved, Public Works will place this road on their maintenance lists. The Final Plat is attached.
The Collin County Engineering and Public Works staff recommend approval to accept the roads within the Brookside Estates development (City of Wylie ETJ Subdivision) for county maintenance.

ACTION
We request Commissioners Court consideration for approval to accept the roads within Brookside Estates for County Maintenance.
