Request Commissioners' Court consideration and approval of Spurgin and Associates Design/Consultation Services Fee for the Renovations of the First Floor for Juvenile Probation at 920 E. Park Blvd., Plano, TX.
Previous Court Order 2023-1245-12-11 approved Spurgin and Associates the most qualified firm to assist with designing the renovations.
A budget amendment is requested in the amount of $200,000. to cover the Architect/Design plus any Engineering and investigation that may be needed during this phase.

Purchasing Department Action

Request Commissioners Court consideration and any action to award 2024-203 Design and Consultation Renovations of the First Floor for Juvenile Probation to Louis Kent Spurgin dba Spurgin & Associates Architects, who was approved as the most qualified firm to assist Collin County with designing this project (Court Order 2023-1245-12-11). ED

Budget Department Action

Budgeted funds available in the amount of $200,000 for a Budget Adjustment to fund the award of 2024-203, Design and Consultation, Renovations of the First Floor for Juvenile Probation. Funds will come from those set aside in the Reimbursement Resolution and reimbursed to the county using 2024 bond revenues once the funds are available later this year.

Auditor's Office Action

Funds currently available in the (1010)-Road & Bridge Fund shall be reimbursed to the county using 2024 bond revenues once the funds are available later this year. Budget amendment will be processed upon approval.
